Additional information about transcripts is in this document. To qualify at the GS-06 grade level, you must have:
A. Specialized
Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes assisting Project Engineers in the administration of construction contracts (contract payrolls, insurance certificates, payment applications, correspondence, etc.); consolidating reviewer comments on submittals; preparing and entering modification packages into the automated systems; basic knowledge and experience utilizing scheduling software; assisting project engineers with Time Impact Analysis for the construction, repair, and alteration of simple facilities, roads, and bridges; drafting and maintaining QA plans; and basic knowledge and experience in utilizing spreadsheets and word processing applications. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05); ORB. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. To qualify at the GS-07 grade level, you must have:
A. Specialized

One year of specialized experience which includes assisting Project Engineers in the administration of construction contracts (contract payrolls, insurance certificates, payment applications, correspondence, etc.); reviewing submittals and consolidating reviewer comments on submittals; preparing modification documents and entering modification packages into the automated systems; basic knowledge and experience utilizing scheduling software; assisting project engineers with Time Impact Analysis for the construction, repair, and alteration of simple facilities, roads, and bridges; drafting and maintaining QA plans; and proficiency in utilizing spreadsheets and word processing and presentation applications such as Power Point. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06); ORB. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
