A. Specialized
Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes assisting Project Engineers in the administration of construction contracts (contract payrolls, insurance certificates, payment applications, correspondence, etc.); consolidating reviewer comments on submittals; preparing and entering modification packages into the automated systems; basic knowledge and experience utilizing scheduling software; assisting project engineers with Time Impact Analysis for the construction, repair, and alteration of simple facilities, roads, and bridges; drafting and maintaining QA plans; and basic knowledge and experience in utilizing spreadsheets and word processing applications. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05); ORB. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
