The ideal candidate will be on-site in Grand Rivers, KY.
, and can travel up to 30% of the time to other marina properties throughout the southeast region.
Responsibilities:
Partner with marina management to understand their strategic goals and objectives while aligning HR programs and initiatives.
Support business goals and bring the best experience and solutions to employees.
Provide guidance and coaching to leaders and employees on OSHA compliance, performance management, talent development, talent acquisition, and employee relations.
Identify opportunities and guide to mitigate risks.
Partner with the HR leadership to implement policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Assist HR Manager with audits - I-9, Workers' Compensation, Employee Records, etc.
Perform bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Responsible for benefits administration - ensuring that all eligible employees have been enrolled or waived benefits offered by the company.
Manage all leave programs - FMLA, ADA Accommodations, Medical and Personal LOAs, for the KY and TN properties.
Ensures that HRIS system data is correct, accurate, and up to date.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications preferred.
2-5 years of human resources experience.
Previous payroll administration experience.
Hospitality or marina industry experience is strongly desired.
Strong understanding of HR best practices, including talent management, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, employee relations, OSHA, and compliance.
Proven track record of building solid relationships with business leaders and employees.
Strong communication, collaboration, and coaching skills.
Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into HR solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time (this position will be on-site in Grand Rivers, KY, the remaining 70% of the time) Job Type:
